A late 17th century Flemish ebony and kingwood cabinet, inlaid ivory stringing, with geometric panelled decoration, the hinged top revealing a vacant compartment above a pair of doors with a ripple moulding enclosing an arrangement of nine drawers, three with veneered linings, all fitted with later brass ring handles, originally with side carrying handles, on an associated and later ebonised stand with winged paw feet, 94.8cm high, 103cm wide, 47.7cm deep.
