shaped rectangular, the hinged inkwell covers with faceted knops, detachable glass liners, stamped with retail mark ASPREY LONDON,

George Betjemann & Sons (Ltd) are known to have supplied a number of retail houses including Asprey & Co., as noted in 'The Directory of Gold & Silversmiths' by John Culme, E E Betjemann and Philip Asprey became good friends in the 1920s and the two companies became closely associated with each other through this friendship.
